We know this question sounds self serving, but we actually get this question from people fearing that we are using cheaper materials or something like that. The answer is very simple. We do not advertise on the online marketplaces like Google, Facebook, etc. Most people do not realize how expensive online advertising is and on average about 40% of your purchase via these online sources goes to the advertiser, not the company selling the product. So, while it's more convenient to buy via these marketplaces, you should know that a lot of your money is going to them instead of the company selling the product. The crystal blanks are manufactured in China. In fact, the blanks are unfortunately not available anywhere else because of the raw material (sand) that is required to make them. This is truly a case where these blanks have never been available in the US or any other country other than China. We wish they were available elsewhere! Everyone selling 3D photo crystals buys the blanks from China and most of us buy them from the same manufacturers. We engrave them in Bartlett, TN, a suburb of Memphis TN. We have been doing this since August 2002 and our employees are the best in the business. As described in another note, we do not advertise via Google, Facebook, Amazon, etc because it is so expensive and there really isn't a need for a middleman. Buy direct and save!
